WTCSD’S IRO Introduces Hong Kong Low Carbon Mission Delegation to Renewable Energy Technology in San Diego
SAN DIEGO - May 3 Today, the WORLD TRADE CENTER San Diego’s (WTCSD) new International Relations Office (IRO) organized a visit for Hong Kong investors traveling to San Diego to learn about the latest United States renewable and energy efficient technologies. Regional companies showcased their energy efficient and emissions reduction technology for power plants, environmental equipment, and electrical/hybrid vehicles.
“We welcome the opportunity and are honored to host delegates from the energy industry in Hong Kong,” said Scott Wang, Asia Desk Director for WORLD TRADE CENTER San Diego. “Asia Desk is committed to creating, promoting and enhancing the competitiveness of San Diego business in the Asian markets.”
The Hong Kong energy investors will visit WTCSD, the California Center for Sustainable Energy, UCSD, and travel to the Imperial Valley to meet with the Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation and EW Corporation. The delegation will host a reception this evening at the Doubletree Hotel in Mission Valley.
The Hong Kong delegation participants are: Hong Kong Association of Energy Services Companies, CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd, China NTG Gas Group, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Dennis Lau & Ng Chun Man Architects & Engineers (HK) Limited, and the Hong Kong Productivity Council.
