John C. Gerretsen

John C. Gerretsen is Director, Oil & Gas, of Solar Turbines Incorporated, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines.  Mr. Gerretsen was appointed to this position in 1999 and is responsible for directing the company's worldwide sales and marketing activities.  Previous positions held by Mr. Gerretsen include Director of Caterpillar's International Power Generation Systems; Managing Director, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Director, International Operations at Solar.  He joined Solar in 1974.  Mr. Gerretsen was born in April 1948.
